Great TED talk by Wayne McGregor where you see him shaping a dance (inspired by the physical letters of T, E, D) in real time.

It’s especially interesting as I’ve been thinking about the nature of creation, and how “copying” relates to (or feeds?) the creative process. (Read this Brainpicking article for more.) That’s a side discussion however.

These light blubs (not bulbs!) bring joy to my life. I also enjoy the sound effects they inspire in my head. And yes, they do take the form of blubs and glubs.

You can’t blub and glub without having a corresponding collapse in your body (just like the light blubs).

According to artist Pieke Berman, a light blub “is a light bulb that has gone way out of line.” This is behavior “you wouldn’t expect from such well behaving and reliable little products. Nevertheless, they seem to be enjoying their new free existences.”

Seriously? This is an email campaign company we’re looking at here, and their Resources page is chock full of gorgeously designed images for each section of information. Now this is how you get people to read information that’s not exactly what you’d call scintillating. I feel like I’m browsing a bookstore full of delicious books when I look at the page!
